Mr. Pradeep N. Thakkar / Dattani has been serving on the Board of Directors of the Company since 2007. With five decades of industry experience and deep technical expertise, Mr. Pradeep Thakkar has made significant contributions to the growth and success of VUB Engiineering Limited. He earned his Diploma in Civil Engineering in 1977 from Somaiya University and has since played a pivotal role in VUB Engiineering Limited and its sister concerns. Mr. Pradeep Thakkar also facilitated the expansion of the firm in the real-estate sector with his expert knowledge a decade ago.

Mr. Chintan P. Thakkar / Dattani has been at the helm of the Company since 2005, playing a key role in its growth for over two decades. Under his leadership, the Company has successfully bid for several large-scale and high-profile infrastructure projects across Maharashtra and Rajasthan. In 2023, he spearheaded the overseas expansion of VUB Engiineering Limited and showcasing his strong managerial and entrepreneurial skills, went on to establish Januss Real Estate Developers LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Ritesh S. Sanghvi has been associated with the Company since 2016 and brings extensive expertise in finance, overseeing the Company’s complete accounting operations. Prior to this, he successfully managed end-to-end turnkey interior and architectural projects for both corporate and residential clients through his own venture, R.S. Interiors. He holds over a decade of experience in this field.

Mrs. Kunjal J. Mehtalia earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai in 2001.

Mr. Ujjwalkumar Chavan, an Ex-IRS officer, currently serves as a legal consultant to several organizations. He held the position of Deputy Director at the Enforcement Directorate from 2017 to 2022, followed by a tenure as Additional Commissioner of Income Tax for one year. Academically accomplished, Mr. Chavan holds an MBBS degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, a Master’s in Taxation and Business Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, a Master of Arts in Economics from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Mumbai. He has been honoured with the Kartavyam Award in February 2022 and the Jalprahari Award, and was invited to the United Nations Water Conference held in New York in March 2023.

Mr. Jaising Manohar Diwan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1968, followed by a Master’s in Civil Engineering in 1981. He was associated with the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for 14 years, serving as Executive Engineer in the Kolhapur division and working across various locations in Maharashtra during this period. Afterward, Mr. Diwan shared his expertise as a private consultant to several organizations before gaining nearly two decades of experience in the private sector. His areas of specialization include water supply schemes, pipeline projects, road works, and building construction. Since 2002, he has been engaged as a faculty member at the All India Institute of Local Self Government, Pune, where he delivers lectures for the Sanitary Inspector’s Diploma, Diploma in Local Government Services, and Local Self-Government Diploma programs.

Mr. K. S. Rao is a seasoned banking professional with over 39 years of experience at Vijaya Bank (now Bank of Baroda). Since beginning his career in 1973, he has held diverse leadership roles spanning Credit, Recovery, HR, IR, Vigilance, and General Banking. From 2006 to 2009, he served as Deputy General Manager, heading the Hyderabad and Chennai branches, followed by a leadership tenure at the Mumbai branch. Since 2013, he has been associated with Vijaya Bank as an independent advisor. His contributions to the banking sector have been widely recognized. He received the HR Leadership Award and Innovative HR Practices Award from the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) in 2013, and was honoured as one of the 30 Most Talented HR Leaders in PSUs by IPE the same year. Academically, Mr. Rao holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has pursued additional professional training in Finance, HR Management, and Preventive Vigilance.

Mr. Prabhakar M. Sarkate has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and has nearly two decades of experience with the Maharashtra Industries Development Corporation (MIDC), where he oversaw various infrastructure projects. Leveraging his expertise and extensive industry knowledge, Mr. Sarkate has also provided private consultancy services to several organizations.
